Songs of Solomon has been extended an invitation to the Island of Bermuda.
May 5th through May 10th 2010
We are delighted to formally extend an invitation to the Songs of Solomon: Inspirational Ensemble Inc. to be the inaugural performers for the YES! Program which is being presented by the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts at CedarBridge Academy. The RSJCPA YES! Program is a newly developed Youth Empowerment Series that will showcase youth from various cultures who have honed their artistic gifts and are utilizing their talents to make a positive difference in their communities.
As the first group to be hosted for this important initiative we are looking forward to your visit on May 5-10, 2010. During this time we will be delighted to present you in Schooltime performances for our students, a lunchtime presentation at the City Hall, evening performances for the general public and talk back sessions on a variety of topics that will encourage the youth of Bermuda.
It is our belief that this visit by the Songs of Solomon will not only expose Bermuda’s youths to a variety of choral genres but will inspire them to excel in every area of their life through the example set by this extraordinary group of multi-talented young persons. The Songs of Solomon represent artistic excellence, cultural sensitivity and a commitment to personal development for the uplift of the world community.
Thank you for accepting our invitation. We look forward with great anticipation to this event!
Sincerely,
Emilygail
