We bring good news! Songs of Solomon has been chosen through a national search for the countries choruses to participate in the High School Choral Music Festival 2009 as well as the Celebration of Spiritual and Gospel Music. We have had the privilege of working the opera’s beloved Jessye Norman in past concert settings and we are thrilled that she will curate this most exciting time for music of the African Diaspora! This is an honor as our chorus will also participate in the Leonard Bernstein Mass and Creative project in October of 2008.
