Founded in 2001 by veteran conductor,
Chantel Renee Wright,
SONGS OF SOLOMON remains true to its mission.

Ms. Wright is a firm believer that arts education
- stimulates children spiritually and intellectually,
- builds the family through its commitment to a child’s development, and
- gives a sense of pride and ownership to a community.
From the steps of the York College Auditorium where the founders met on a hot August afternoon, SONGS OF SOLOMON today is thriving in the Harlem Community serving children of predominately African American and Latino descent. The organization is spreading its wings with the implementation of the SONGS OF SOLOMON ACADEMY OF THE ARTS.
The Ensemble has performed with Earth, Wind and Fire, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Ashford and Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barinno, Trey Songz, toured major cities in the United States and won competitions in the metropolitan area.
SONGS OF SOLOMON to date is still committed to the development of the artists mind, body and spirit. The lives of our members have been transformed because they were here.
